Rural Alberta Advantage Return to Alberta on Expanded North American Tour

Rural Alberta Advantage Return to Alberta on Expanded North American Tour
Since receiving the heaping amount of accolades that accompanied the release of their debut record, Hometowns, Toronto, ON-based indie folk trio the Rural Alberta Advantage have been on an endless touring circuit. Now, the band have added to their previously announced batch of dates with a string of Canadian shows, including a return to Alberta.

Even though it's their namesake, the band haven't performed in Alberta since last year's Sled Island Festival in June. That will all change when they perform in both Calgary and Edmonton during their February tour dates. On that same tour, they'll also give Canada some love with shows in Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Vancouver and Victoria.

Along with all the touring action, the Rural Alberta Advantage will be releasing Hometowns stand-out "Drain the Blood" as a seven-inch single on January 12 via Saddle Creek. The B-side will include a WTF?-worthy cover of Survivor's jock jam classic "Eye of the Tiger." A music video for "Drain the Blood" can be streamed below.
