Run Coyote

"Wreck of a Man" (video)

Ontario indie rock unit Run Coyote are set to embark on another string of tour dates in support of 2014's Youth Haunts LP, but before they take off, Exclaim! has got the exclusive first look at the band's brand new video for "Wreck of a Man."

The song serves as the record's closing number, leaving listeners with a final blast of jangly, pop-infused rock'n'roll that lingers even after the album comes to a close. It's now been matched with some summery visuals that were shot in Lima, Peru. The clip follows bassist Amanda Grant's cousin Colin Robinson as he surfs and skateboards along the Pacific coast.

"Since he's moved to Peru, Colin has been sharing his adventures in South America with us," frontman Sam Allen tells Exclaim! "We got talking about the footage and he sent us these really dynamic shots where the viewer is right on the surf board, cutting through the Pacific Ocean with him."

Like the song itself, the video is fast-paced, fun and likely to brighten up your day a little bit. Scroll past Run Coyote's upcoming shows and hit play to check out the video premiere of "Wreck of a Man."
