Exclaim! New Faves alum Ruby Waters has announced her long-awaited debut full-length collection. What's the Point arrives on May 31, and the Toronto singer-songwriter will celebrate the occasion with an album release show at the Danforth Music Hall on May 30.

Recorded over the last year and a half between Whistler, Squamish and Toronto, the record was produced by Waters's frequent collaborator, Sam Willows (the Beaches, MICO), with additional production credits from Harper, TJ Whitlaw and Mido.

"This album was mostly written in a cabin just off the sea to sky highway. It is about coming to terms with never knowing the real meaning of life, while accepting all the ups and downs that come with it," Waters said in a statement. "Being angry. Being happy. Being thankful. Moving on. Remembering. Letting go. All of it!"

Tickets for the album release event go on sale Friday (April 5) at 12 p.m. ET via the artist's website.
