The postponement comes "due to some unresolved issues arising from a past arrest"

Royal Trux's return has hit a snag, as the reunited outfit's North American tour has been postponed.

The duo of Jennifer Herrema and Neil Hagerty were to kick off a U.S./Canada tour in February in support of their upcoming album White Stuff, but today the group broke the bad news the trek would no longer be happening.

A press release explains:

Due to some unresolved issues arising from a past arrest, Royal Trux will be rescheduling their North American Tour. Jennifer is incredibly grateful that she will not be spending any time in jail, and in her own words, states: "Shit could definitely be worse."

She regrets that her inconvenience may affect the fans and ticket buyers but is looking forward to the shows being rescheduled for later this Spring. Any tickets purchased in advance will be honoured for the new dates.

So far, rescheduled dates have not been announced, but you can see the affected tour stops below. They include Canadian concerts in Vancouver and Toronto.

White Stuff — Royal Trux's first studio album since 2000 — will arrive on March 1 via Fat Possum.
