Eclectic Winnipeg popsters Royal Canoe have toured extensively during the last couple of years and recently performed Beck's Song Reader in full, and now all that hard work has paid off in the form of a deal with Nevado Records.
This signing follows the band's two EPs in 2012, Extended Play and Purple and Gold. While they have yet announced the details their first release for Nevado, a press release notes that they plan to drop a full-length this summer. The announcement additionally notes that Royal Canoe will release their live rendition of Song Reader in video and MP3 formats soon.
In the meantime, the band will spend the coming months touring extensively in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. See the schedule below.
