The last time Canadian pop heroes Royal Canoe embarked on a North American tour, it ended with a tragic robbery. Fortunately, they were able to recoup their losses via Kickstarter, and now the band will have another crack at the road this fall.
Royal Canoe have announced a hefty North American tour in support of last year's Today We're Believers LP. The trek includes shows throughout Canada and the States, including shows in Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.
In addition, the group have treated their Believers album track "Exodus of the Year" to a new music video. Directed by Matthew Rankin, the clip is an homage to their hometown of Winnipeg, complete with plenty of lovingly shot landmarks.
