Roxy Music are set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this week, and frontman Bryan Ferry has announced he will reunite with his original band members for the occasion.
Ferry confirmed that he will perform alongside group members Andy Mackay and Phil Manzanera at the ceremony, which takes place Friday (March 29) at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
A press release notes that former Roxy Music members Brian Eno and drummer Paul Thompson will not be in attendance "due to other commitments."
Ferry, Manzanera, Mackay and Thompson reunited as Roxy Music back in 2001 and toured to mark the band's 30th anniversary.
Manzanera then confirmed the band's split in 2014, telling Rolling Stone, "When we stopped touring in 2011, Andy [Mackay] and I looked at each other and said, 'Our job is done here.'"
Roxy Music's final album was 1982's Avalon. Earlier this year, Ferry announced a solo tour on which he will perform songs from the album, in addition to solo material.
Other acts set to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of its 2019 class include Radiohead, the Cure, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Roxy Music, the Zombies and the fan-voted Def Leppard.
