Indie pop trio Romantic Feelings have their three members spread across the United States, but in 2013 they came together to record Best Quality Crying Gown at Olympia's fabled Dub Narcotic Studios. After a long wait, the album is finally seeing the light of day.
The nine-song LP demonstrates some thoughtful songwriting and solid musicianship as the band pairs memorable melodies with jazzy flourishes. It's the sort of thing that'd be great live, too, but while they're separated we'll have to stick with the studio recordings.
