Rick Ross's Maybach Music empire just got a little bigger, with news of the Bawse signing upstart Chicago rapper Rockie Fresh. Ross took to his Twitter account earlier today (July 12) to announce his latest team member, writing "Everyone Welcome @rockiefresh to the @MaybachMusicGrpFamily!!!!"

He also instagrammed some photos of the business transaction, which includes a smiling Ross watching as Fresh leafs through the paperwork.

"Salute to @RickyRozay for seeing my vision. We ‪#RichForever‬ ‪#MMG‬," Fresh tweeted in response to today's events.

Buzz for Fresh has been building the last little while via a series of mixtapes, with his most recent and fourth offering being this year's Driving 88. You can download the Back to the Future-sampling collection over here at DatPiff.

It's unclear just when the rapper will make his Maybach debut, but XXL reports that Fresh is already prepping a follow-up mixtape to Driving 88.
