Rockie Fresh

'The Night I Went To... Los Angeles' EP

Chicago-based rapper Rockie Fresh held onto his The Night I Went To... mixtape for quite some time before officially unveiling the project at the end of January. It turns out he had a few extra tracks kicking around on his hard drive, though, and they've now been released as a mini follow-up titled The Night I Went To... Los Angeles.

The MMG rapper's four-song salute to the West Coast is described in a statement as the first in a series of releases. It first finds him palling around with his label boss, Rick Ross, and Fresh Veggies friend Casey Veggies for a glossy but booming remix of the previously issued "Your Life."

The EP also features the fanciful, faux brass blast of the Hit-Boy-produced "All I Want," the blues-lick-loaded "Potential," and the closing high of "Addicted."

It's unclear what stop Fresh will make next, but his The Night I Went To... Los Angeles is streaming below.
