Robyn Reveals Mysterious La Bagatelle Magique Project

Swedish pop sensation Robyn has been making music for two decades, and in addition to her solo success and collaborative musical creation with Röyksopp, the singer has now unveiled plans for a new project called La Bagatelle Magique.

The group features Robyn alongside her touring keyboard player Markus Jägerstedt, with late producer Christian Falk also garnering a member credit. Falk had worked with Robyn since her 1995 debut album, and passed away from pancreatic cancer last year.

The new outfit is slated to appear at the Dans Dakar festival in Stockholm, which runs from August 21 to 22. Their set will feature material spanning Robyn's two-decade long career — which seems appropriate given that her debut Robyn is Here will turn 20 this summer.

While further details about the new project are scarce at this point, La Bagatelle Magique has launched a website featuring a looping snippet of a yelp-y, electro-tinged tune apparently titled "Love Is Free" and the option to sign-up for future updates. Check it out here.
