Post Malone has proven himself to be a fairly versatile performer, having delivered a serviceable (if awkward) Green Day cover, as well as a viral collaboration with a mariachi band. In other words, if there's anyone that could do a decent cross-genre Weezer collaboration it's surely him.
Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo apparently agrees. In an interview with NME, he said he's a big fan of the rapper. "I listen mostly to modern music," Cuomo said. "If I'm just hanging out listening to music, I'm listening to Spotify and curated playlists — someone like Post Malone."
When asked if he'd ever collaborate with Malone, Cuomo was enthusiastically into it. "I'd love to work with him," he said. "In fact, I think we are fans of each other's music… He's in a great zone right now. I'd absolutely be open to working together."
