Rise Against Announce Canadian Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished May 30, 2011

It's been a big year for long-running Chicago punkers Rise Against, with a couple highlights including the release of their most recent politically charged platter, Endgame, and their upcoming headlining gig at Toronto's Edgefest. Clearly the band have some more love for their Canadian fans, though, as they have announced a cross-country tour.

A press release for the group explains that the outfit will start the fall jaunt at Quebec City's Agora Du Vieux on September 30 as part of the Envol et Macadam Festival, and will make their way to Vancouver by October 12. Along the way, the band will play other Canadian cities such as Winnipeg, Edmonton and Calgary. You can check the full schedule below, which also includes the band's stops at Edgefest and Ottawa's Bluesfest.

Celtic punks Flogging Molly and the Black Pacific will join Rise Against on the fall run of Canadian dates. Tickets go on sale through this Friday (June 3).
