R.I.P.: Abacus Recordings 2002 - 2007
According to Lambgoat.com, metal/punk/hardcore label Abacus Recordings has folded.

Originally the offshoot of influential metal label Century Media, Abacus split its ties two years ago, which saw co-owner of both labels Robert Kampf relinquished his ownership of Abacus. It's reported that Century Media will now welcome certain bands onto the label, but no official reason has been given for the label's demise.

In its five years, Abacus released records by Planes Mistaken for Stars, Sworn Enemy, Turbonegro, Sick of it All, Montreal's Ion Dissonance and Toronto's Cancer Bats.
