Riff Raff Adds Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller to 'Neon Icon'

Last month, heavily braided oddball rapper Riff Raff announced he had tapped Drake and A$AP Rocky to appear on some new tunes, and it looks as if the songs will figure on the rapper's upcoming studio debut for Diplo's Mad Decent imprint, which will also include guest spots from the likes of Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa.

Speaking with DJ Semtex [via Hip Hop DX], Riff Raff noted that the LP is going under the title Neon Icon, and the Diplo-presented platter is set to feature a number of namecheck-worthy rap stars stopping by to spit with the blog-buzzed MC.

"[Diplo is] just one of them types of guys who's just looking for the newest shit that's coming," Riff Raff said. "We've got a big album coming, Neon Icon. We got Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky, YG, Snoop [Dogg] — you know I got these big names on it. You know when you're working with somebody [Diplo] like that, I'd rather work with a big producer who works with big artists — Future, Drake — I've got all these big artists on my album. It's going to be a monumental album."

Details have yet to drop about the Drake and A$AP songs, but a series of tweets from Riff hinted they'd pop up around June. Neon Icon follows the rapper's 2012 mixtapes Rap Game Bon Jovi and Birth of an Icon, as well as guest appearances on tracks by Kitty, Action Bronson and a recent track dedicated to Canada.

Meanwhile, James Franco has yet to deliver the apology Riff Raff wants for supposedly copping his style in Harmony Korine's new movie Spring Breakers.
