Rick Ross Sued in Animal Assault Case

Rick Ross has been sued following an incident that allegedly found the rapper's three pit bulls viciously attacking a Yorkshire terrier last April. The alleged animal assault, which resulted in the death of the terrier, may cost the hip-hop star upwards of $15,000 in damages.

The lawsuit, which lists the plaintiff as "Maria," claims that the canines escaped the Bawse's Atlanta mansion last spring, entered the woman's property and instantly attacked her three-year-old Yorkshire, Banks.

According to the document, which was obtained by TMZ, the dog suffered "three large bite wounds on his back," as well as a "very large bite wound" on its neck. Police were called to the scene and managed to free the dog, but its wounds were so severe that Banks had to be euthanized.

While investigators cited Ross over the incident, the plaintiff still filed suit. To paraphrase James Brown, sometimes you've got to pay the cost to be the Bawse. To make matters worse, the Teflon Don apparently didn't even apologize over the horrific event.
