It was a move that resulted in an identity-related lawsuit from real-life convict "Freeway" Ricky Ross, though the rapper won late last year. Now, however, the Florida-bred MC is working his way toward the convict life after a recent arrest.
Rather than some vast drug cartel charge, Ross was arrested for smoking a little too much weed in a Shreveport, LA hotel room. TMZ reports that Ross was arrested on Friday (March 25) after police detected a strong marijuana odour coming from his hotel room. When officers investigated, they found a gram of weed in plain view.
