In addition to fronting the Glaswegian indie rock outfit the Phantom Band, Rick Anthony performs solo under the name Rick Redbeard. Although the Phantom Band released a new album just last month, Rick Redbeard has already got a new release in the form of a 7-inch for Kingfisher Bluez.
Dreams of the Trees begins with the title cut, which is a quietly sleepy acoustic folk lullaby. On the flip, "Flow Like Unicorns" pairs reflective spoken monologues with gentle piano tinkles, and "JW" is a starkly beautiful folk ballad.
