Rich Gang rapper Rich Homie Quan is on a roll at the moment, having offered up a series of new singles this week. Two more have just popped on the radar. One, called "Up Up and Away" has him spitting with best bud Young Thug, while "Tell Me Why?" finds him duelling Drake.
"Tell Me Why?" is the more turnt of the two, bouncing by on a boom and staccato synth rhythms. Drake talks about hungry rappers, hanging with the squad and delivers a few unflattering lines about breast stroking his way through the competition. Quan serves up a sung hook and notes how he too started from the bottom.
"Up Up and Away" has Rich Homie and Thug mellowing over a slow jam of gospel organ and snare paps, but still soaring over the beat with a series of half-sung verses and AutoTune-abusing lines.
