Rhye's Milosh Prepping New Solo LP 'Jetlag'

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 18, 2013

Rhye had a hit on their hands earlier this year with their sizzling, bedroom-approved R&B LP Woman, but band member Milosh (a.k.a. Michael Milosh) will cap 2013 with a solo set called Jetlag. An exact due date has yet to be pegged for the project, but it's expected to land this November via Deadly/eOne Music Canada.

Little is known about the set just yet, though a lengthy album trailer gives us a few snippets from the LP, including minimalist and moody piano pieces, backwards-masked ambiance, and eerily laugh-assisted downtempo beatsmithing. You can see the trailer, aided by black and white visuals of a woman walking down a highway, down below.

Though a tracklisting has yet to appear, this will be the first full-length from the Toronto-bred, L.A.-based Milosh since 2008's iii.

Jetlag isn't the only extracurricular LP from the Rhye guys this year. Danish multi-instrumentalist Robin Hannibal delivered the Avalanche LP with his other outfit, Quadron, back in the spring.
