Winnipeg four-piece the Revival have always brought together an eclectic mix of sounds, and that hasn't changed on their new single "Tell Me What You Know About Love" — which you can hear first on Exclaim!, right now.
Priding themselves on creating a unique mixture of rock, EDM, new wave and world music, the Revival aim to bridge gaps between organic and electronic, as well as vintage and forward-thinking, sounds. They do just that on "Tell Me What You Know About Love," which is slated to appear on the band's debut full-length record later this year. It was recorded with producer Nash (Ladies of the Canyon) and will arrive via Pipe & Hat.
The album marks the first new material since the passing of their founding drummer Alex Danyliuk — a loss that left the band more dedicated than ever to carry on with the "spirit of a fallen friend." Reinvigorated and using their name as "the moniker that embodies their newfound musical manifesto," the Revival inject that lively energy into the new single.
