Robocop is a remake of the 1987 classic movie of the same name that sparked two sequels and a TV series. The movie is set in the not too distant future and follows a cop who is turned into a part-man, part-robot after being badly injured in the line of duty. The film boasts excellent special effects and intense action scenes but to find out whether this remake will dazzle your significant other, you'll have to read our review.

The toast of the Berlin International Film Festival, Gloria, is a Chilean film starring Paulina Garcia. But while Garcia has garnered numerous awards for her portrayal of a free-spirited mild-aged woman who attempts to find love in Santiago, parts of the film left our reviewer scratching his head. Documentary Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer, by Mike Lerner and Maxim Pozdorovkin, follows the court cases of Pussy Riot using courtroom footage and interviews with the families of the persecuted group members. According to our reviewer, the film "is an important contribution to the ongoing assessment of the current state of Russian society and culture."

If a lighthearted romantic comedy is what you're craving this weekend, then About Last Night may be the choice for you. This remake of the 1986 film follows two couples experiencing new love in L.A. The movie follows the traditional recipe for a rom-com, but to know whether it transcends that genre or falls flat, you'll have to read the review of this V-Day film.
