"Oh My Heart"

If you like to experience your new R.E.M. records in a piecemeal fashion, good news: yet another track has leaked from the band's upcoming Collapse into Now. This time, it's the ballad-y "Oh My Heart."

You can stream the track over at NPR right here.

Stipe had this to say about the song in a statement to NPR: "It's a very quiet and meditative song dedicated to New Orleans -- about New Orleans. Jacknife [Lee] is great as a producer, because he saw that we were struggling with what is a very quiet song. We were standing really far away from each other in the room, and it was hard not only to actually physically hear each other, but it felt dispersed. He brought us into the middle, and instantly, of course, the song worked."

Collapse Into Now is due out March 8 on Warner Bros.
