Swedish hardcore heroes Refused recently unveiled plans to release their first new album since 1998's The Shape of Punk to Come, with Freedom due to drop on June 30 through Epitaph. And while live footage of some of the new songs emerged earlier this month, the proper studio version of "Françafrique" can now be heard online.
Opening on a childlike chant of "Exterminate all the brutes," the track builds into a riff-heavy display of chunky guitars, eerily chanted refrains and politically charged lyrics.
