The disastrous Broadway musical Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark has already turned into more of a punchline than one might expect as critics revile it, cast members constantly quit and cast and crew are constantly injured on the set. If you thought it couldn't get any more ridiculous, however, check out this track from the soundtrack featuring U2's Bono and the Edge.
As could be expected, this is crooning dad rock at its best, with Bono taking a break from saving the world to lend his throaty singing to the track while the Edge dicks around on his guitar above a car commercial synth beat. It's not all that bad, but when you imagine a musical theatre student singing it in a Spidey costume, it's pretty hard to take it as seriously as they want you to.
