Now that summer is here, Better Weather is upon us in more way than one. To officially welcome the beginning of beach season, Vancouver duo Reef Shark have shared their debut album in full.
Opener "Enter the RFSHRK" begins the album with looming riffs, and these give way to melodically haunting pop rock. This sets the tone for the album, which has traces of noisiness and spaced out psychedelia but never ventures too far from its pop-centric roots. The album was recorded with George Knuff and mixed by Jesse Gander (Japandroids, White Lung).
This comes a few days later than the originally planned June 18 release date. Hear it below.
