Redgy Blackout's Scott Perrie Goes Solo for 'Everything Gives' EP
Scott Perrie is known around Vancouver as a member of the rootsy pop-rock band Redgy Blackout, and this summer he will make the solo leap with his debut EP. Everything Gives is out on July 9.

The songs were recorded live on a single day at Monarch Studios, the Vancouver facility operated by Zolas member Tom Dobrzanski (Said the Whale, We Are the City). They feature Perrie performing only with his acoustic guitar, harmonica and stomp box.

The self-produced EP reportedly has an environmental slant, and a press release notes, "Everything Gives is inspired by the growing awareness for our planet and everything that it gives, every single day."

See the tracklist below and scroll past that to watch in-studio videos for the stripped down cuts "Above the Clouds" and "Elegy."
