Just yesterday (September 9), Matt Mondanile revealed plans for a new Ducktails EP, but a freshly revealed trailer hints that he and his Real Estate buddies have something on the way as well.
How can we be so sure? Well, for one, the YouTube video is titled "Real Estate LP3 Teaser." That's pretty cut and dry.
There's not too much to go on beyond that, but we see the studio-set clip featuring footage of the band prepping their instruments for a session, followed by a breezy little outro from an as-yet-unidentified song. It's unclear at present when they plan to issue the LP, but you can peep the sneak preview down below.
Real Estate's last full-length was 2011's Days.
As for Mondanile's upcoming Ducktails EP, Wish Hotel is due to drop October 22 via Domino. As previously reported, the record was tracked at the artist's Ridgewood, NJ home, with Mondanile handling all the instrumentation. Al Carson mixed the five-track effort.
