Blonde/brunette Danish rockers the Raveonettes have announced that they'll be releasing In & Out of Control through Vice Records on October 6. Keeping with these Web 2.0 times, the band have been releasing demos from this much-anticipated follow-up to last year's Lust Lust Lust to their Twitter profile, so chances are, if you're a fan, you're well-prepared for this one.
In an interview with Billboard, Raveonette Sharin Foo explained their process. "I still feel like I'm just emerging from the six intense weeks in the studio in Copenhagen and still digesting what this album is really all about," Foo said. "But I know it's a strong album that feels very complete."
To coincide with the record, which the press release describes as "the ultimate light album," the band will unleash a monstrous North American tour. Kicking off in Chicago for Lollapalooza on August 9, the band will spend much of the fall traversing the continent. They'll also make Canadian stops in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
