Thanks to a seven-inch and a well-received Canadian tour with Little Girls earlier this year, there's a currently a lot of buzz surrounding fuzzy Toronto indie outfit RatTail. With fans of the fledgling band anticipating what's to come, news of the group's upcoming full-length surely comes as a relief.
BC imprint Unfamiliar Records has announced that RatTail's self-titled debut will land digitally on November 15. The three-piece -- guitarist/vocalist Jasmyn Burke, drummer Jesse Matthews and bassist Tim Fagan -- recently wrapped up recording sessions for the album, and have put up a couple of RatTail's tunes up for preview on their Bandcamp page. A full tracklisting has yet to be revealed for the nine-song set.
UPDATE: A physical release of RatTail's album is due out on Unfamiliar on January 31.
Just before the disc launches, however, the band will hit the road for a handful of dates across the East Coast. Joining RatTail on most dates are psychedelic shoegazers Rituals, who will be releasing a digital album of their own through Unfamiliar on October 18. You can check the dates below.
