It's been 15 years since the Raincoats have released a new album, but fans of the seminal post-punk band have plenty to look forward to in 2011. Not only are they playing Pop Montreal this September, but the group are gearing up to reissue their 1981 album, Odyshape.

Originally released by Rough Trade, this remastered version will come out via the band's We ThRee label. It will drop on September 5 in the UK and on September 13 in North America, both via heavyweight vinyl and on CD.

This 30th anniversary release comes two years after Kill Rock Stars reissued the band's self-titled 1979 debut.

Along with the Pop Montreal performance and a stop at the Jeff Mangum-curated ATP in England this December, the Raincoats have rolled out a short strings of dates, including a Toronto stop on September 23.

Tour dates:

9/16 Brooklyn, NY - Warsaw
9/17 Washington, DC - Comet Ping Pong
9/19 Chicago, IL - Double Door
9/21 Detroit, MI - Museum of Contemporary Art
9/23 Toronto, ON - Wrongbar
