Raggedy Angry

Take Me, Break Me, Make Me Pretty

BY Aaron LevyPublished Sep 19, 2007

Raggedy Angry make me rage. Redundant? Yes. Relatively appropriate? Absolutely. As if you could take the blandest of pop structures, the most provocative of high school gossip topics and the most uninventive production techniques and hide them all under a conglomeration of punk, industrial and pop aesthetics and call it an album! As if you could give that album a name that essentially begs to be perverted, abused, mishandled and misconstrued and still make people flock to your Myspace page! The first listen through is inoffensive enough but there’s only so much Billy Talent-esque singing with a Simple Plan on a bad acid-trip knack for songwriting masquerading as industrial one can take!
