Ever-prolific Wu-god Raekwon has set up fans with another new tune, this time as part of a new weekly series leading up to the release of his long-promised F.I.L.A. First up in his #tbt series, which apparently doesn't take that second "t" to heart, is a revamp of Rose Royce's "Wishing on a Star."
Rather than sample the late '70s single, Raekwon runs his bars about the hood days atop the original track. After discussing hustling and jumping into a modified chorus duet with Royce about getting caked up, he lets the funky late-night soul track play out proper.
