Rae Spoon has just dropped a new track from their tenth full-length album, Mental Health, which is due next week on August 16 via Coax Records. The new song is called "Money" and can be heard below.

The song covers the issue of individuals seeking mental health care who don't have access due to financial strain. Spoon had this to say about the epidemic:

The least talked about aspect of the mental health system which is that it's almost impossible to receive positive treatment without personal money. The mental health epidemic is due to a lack of allocation of funding by governments. I wrote ["Money"] about the cycles that occur when people don't have resources.

"Money" arrives as the second track from the forthcoming album, with the first track, "I Can't Sleep" (featuring the Pack A.D.'s Becky Black), being released earlier this summer.

Spoon is currently on tour in Canada in support of Mental Health. Scroll past the listening link to view the full tour schedule below.
