Published Oct 20, 2016Radiohead are masters of the cryptic reveal, but when images of the band's logo appeared on the Glastonbury grounds crop circle-style yesterday (October 19), not many were left doubting the news announcement that was on the way. Now, Radiohead have indeed confirmed they will be playing the legendary UK festival next summer.
In an Instagram post, the group shared a photo of said logo on said festival grounds, taking over the space in front of the Pyramid Stage structure. A simple caption let fans know that Radiohead would be stepping on to that very stage on the Friday night of the festival — June 23, 2017.
The festival has yet to reveal any more lineup details for next year's event, but this seems like a pretty solid start. Not that organizers need to fret about filling seats — tickets sold out within hours of going on sale.
Glastonbury 2017 is slated to take place from June 21 to 25 at Worthy Farm in Pilton, UK.
