Swedish dream popsters Radio Dept. have been laying fairly low over the last few years, following up 2010's Clinging to a Scheme with the 2014 single "Death to Fascism" and then stepping away from the spotlight again. They're back again, though, this time delivering a new tune called "Occupied."
Released as a 12-inch single, the new track hears the band further embracing the electro-leaning tendencies that appeared on "Death to Fascism," playing with start-and-stop drum beats and ominous synths. It shows off the band's more sombre side and is sure to have you gazing sullenly at your shoes.
