Racoon Bandit

"I'm Waiting" (video)

Charlottetown combo Racoon Bandit recently released their album Close Your Eyes, and now they are going about promoting it. Not only do they have a tour coming up, but they just rolled out a video for the cut "I'm Waiting."

The song is a hypnotic pop-rock tune with a dreamy, faintly psychedelic groove that's simultaneously punchy and downcast. The accompanying video captures this sense of contrast by showing someone engaged in destructive DIY pursuits including smashing piggybanks, hitting a sack of flour with a sledgehammer, and blasting off fireworks inside of a blob of jello.

The video was directed by Adam Perry. Scroll past Raccoon Bandit's upcoming Atlantic Canadian tour schedule to check it out.
