The Raconteurs Announce 'Live at Montreux 2008' DVD

Jack White is gearing up to release his album Blunderbuss on April 24, but his busy solo schedule isn't stopping the ultra-prolific garage rocker from taking a look back on one of his many past projects by releasing a live DVD with the Raconteurs. Entitled Live at Montreux 2008, it's due out on June 19 through Eagle Rock Entertainment.

The gig took place almost four years ago, on July 7, 2008, at Miles Davis Hall in Montreux, Switzerland. According to a press release, the concert film includes a selection of tunes from 2006's Broken Boy Soldiers and 2008's Consolers of the Lonely, in addition to a cover of Charley Jordan's "Keep It Clean" from 1940.

The announcement says that the film is 100 minutes long and contains 16 songs, although Setlist.fm reports that the show actually featured 17 tunes, so it's possible that one of the tracks was omitted. The flick will be available on DVD or Blu-ray.

It's unclear whether this is a kiss-off from the Raconteurs, or if the band have any plans to record new material. They played a few shows in 2011, but the members have since turned their attentions to other projects; not only does White have Blunderbuss on the way, but co-frontman Brendan Benson will be releasing a solo album of his own, What Kind of World.
