Now at ten years, the Portland, OR band that describes its genre as both "thrash" and "trash" has emerged from the underground to release the album SOS (Singles, Other Shit), a heavily distorted hodgepodge of demos, live clips, jams and cries of mania, not to mention nine tracks worth of covers that, according to their label, are "mistreated as if their own, no doubt to piss you off." Mission accomplished, lads! As for the six-pack of original music, it ranges from such nasty little shockers like "No (More) Depth" to the prolonged delirium of "Slow Mars." Can you decipher ten percent of the lyrics amidst all the pulsating dissonance? Probably not. The pummelling hardcore, however, is 100 percent clear.
