Former Boston drummer Sib Hashian has died after collapsing onstage, TMZ reports. He was 67.

Hashian's son told the publication that the drummer was performing as part of the Legends of Rock Cruise when he collapsed mid-set. A witness told TMZ that CPR was performed and a defibrillator was used to no avail.

Hashian joined Boston in 1975 and manned the kit on their revered 1976 self-titled debut, which scored the band hits such as "Most Than a Feeling," "Long Time" and "Peace of Mind."

He also appeared on 1978's Don't Look Back and participated in sessions for 1986's Third Stage, though he left the band before it saw release.
