Published Feb 14, 2011With the long-delayed re-release of their self-titled debut just weeks away, Queens of the Stone Age are totally in the mood to celebrate. To toast the reissue, the band will be performing the album in its entirety at a handful of upcoming shows.
A post on leader Josh Homme's Rekords Rekords website explains that the band will be taking to venues across North American this March with a set list that features "the entire first album, plus additional material from that same early Queens era, as well as nightly surprises." Hopefully the surprises include a couple of the new tracks the band have been working on.
While the brief run of dates announced today (February 14) include Canadian stops in Montreal and Toronto, the press release explains that the band will hit up more of Canada sometime in June.
