Quebec's FME Gets Half Moon Run, the Sadies, Kid Koala for 2019 Festival

La Force, Loud, FET.NAT, Motherhood, Dominique Fils-Aimé, Absolutely Free and others will also perform

Festival de Musique Émergente — otherwise known as FME — is set to return to Rouyn-Noranda in Quebec's Abitibi-Témiscamingue region once again this year. And the organizers have just rolled out the initial lineup for the 17th edition.

This year's FME takes place from August 29 to September 1. During that time, the event will host such festival acts as Jeanne Added, Kid Koala, Loud, FouKi, Sarahmée, Alaclair Ensemble, Koriass, KT Gorique and more.

UPDATE: Additional artists were announced on July 17. The lineup now includes Half Moon Run, Les Soeurs Boulay, La Force, Heartstreets, Naya Ali, MISCELLANIUM, MIELS, LA Julia Smith, the Young Gods, Philippe Brach, the Televisionairies, the 5 6 7 8s, Motherhood, FET.NAT, And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Our Dead, the Sadies, Lesser Evil, Daniel Romano, Necrotic Mutation, Archons, Despised Icon, Last Train, Absolutely Free, Laurence-Anne, David Marin, Sessa, Barrdo, Lou-Adriane Cassidy, Dominique Fils-Aimé, Simon Kearney, The Flamingos Pink, Mélissa Laveaux, Caravane, Emilie Kahn, Adam Naas, Louis Venne and others.
