Political art punk crew Pussy Riot are set to bring their fascinating protest stories to Toronto for a special discussion, which will be moderated by Fucked Up's Damian Abraham (also of the "Turned Out a Punk" podcast).

The event takes place on November 12 at Toronto's Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Abraham is set to speak with Pussy Riot's Maria Alyokhina (Masha) and Alexandra Bogino (Sasha).

Pussy Riot made international acclaim in 2012 when they staged a performance in Moscow's Cathedral of Christ the Savior to protest the church's support for Putin. The protest resulted in the imprisonment of three Pussy Riot members.

Since then, the loose collective has staged protests around the world to spread awareness about feminism and LGBTQ issues, among many other causes.

Tickets for the talk will be available on Saturday (September 24) at 10 a.m. EDT.
