Political crusaders Pussy Riot have been spending their time out of prison trying to revamp the Russian media and collaborating with Le Tigre, but they haven't lost sight of local events.
The band have unveiled a new video titled "Witches of Pussy Riot Clean Manezhka" in response to the Russian government's attempt to prevent protests. As a press release explains, opposition leader Alexei Navalny and his brother Oleg's prison trial was sped through so as to not allow time for protests.
Nevertheless, major protests are scheduled for this evening (December 30) in Manezhka Square, where the new video takes place. It features the members of Pussy Riot getting dolled up and swishing brooms around the square where the protests are set to take place.
