Pussy Riot

"Like a Red Prison" (video)

Highly political Russian punks Pussy Riot have taken aim at the oil industry in their new single, "Like a Red Prison," which has been given its own music video.

As you'll see in the clip down below, the balaclava-sporting outfit show their disdain for the oil companies as they protest and perform on oil rigs and gas stations, and pour something crude over the twirling, oversized portrait of Igor Sechin, the head of state oil firm Rosneft. As for the song, it works a few mosh grooves and jud-judded guitar rhythms, launches into polka-punk blasts and features some blood-curdling shrieks.
