Published Nov 30, 2012Throughout Pusha T's career, his name has mostly been synonymous with Clipse and the Re-Up Gang, and in recent years he has appeared on collaborative works from Kanye West and the G.O.O.D. Music crew, as well as dropped his own Fear of God releases. Now, the veteran rapper has begun to confirm the details of his new solo album.
While performing in New York City last night (November 29), Pusha T told the audience that his album would be called My Name Is My Name, a title that apparently is a reference to HBO's much-loved series The Wire.
Pusha T's recent release, "Pain," is the first single from the upcoming album. Expect more details to be announced in due course.
Before My Name Is My Name arrives next year through Def Jam, Pusha T plans to release a mixtape called Wrath of Caine before the end of 2012.
