Pusha T Reveals More Details About 'G.O.O.D. Music: The Album'

Late Wednesday afternoon (October 19), Kanye West announced via Twitter that he and his G.O.O.D. Music cohorts would be teaming up for a big group album to be released next spring. But besides unveiling the concept and rough release date, he gave us no other details. Two days later, team member Pusha T has dropped some deets, explaining that he's already a few songs deep into the collection.

Speaking with DJ MoonDawg of Chicago's107.5 WGCI [via Hip Hop DX], the Clipse vet dished that the album is already underway, he's already recorded four tracks for it, and Yeezy is unsurprisingly at the helm for some of them.

"We got some Kanye production. We got a few others," Pusha T said. "I'm actually waiting to get in with No I.D. Hopefully, we get in like November and I already know that's gonna be magic. No I.D. has this thing of really catering and tailor-making these tracks to what he thinks... I'm personally four in. I mean everybody has their own situation going on so they're gonna pick and choose and do what they do."

While the roster currently hosts Kanye West, Common, John Legend, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Malik Yusef, Mr Hudson, Cyhi Da Prynce, Mos Def, Pusha T, D'banj and Teyana Taylor, a rumour that spitter French Montana may be joining their ranks, potentially stalling a similar alignment with Rick Ross's Maybach Music, suggests there's always room for one more.

When asked about West's alleged meeting with Montana in New York earlier this week, Pusha T didn't exactly confirm the addition, diplomatically praising the MC while saying that anything can happen over at team G.O.O.D.

"I mean for what G.O.O.D. Music has been known for, but I don't know if G.O.O.D. Music was known for Pusha T. You know what I'm saying? I don't think G.O.O.D. Music was necessarily known for what it is that I do and think that we about to shock the world come 2012," he said. "I'm a fan of French personally. If that happens to happen, the way that French is putting out music and he puts out visuals and is like really self-contained, it could be serious man."

More details on the mega-project will no doubt surface in the coming weeks and months.
