It's been a while since Pusha T gave us any info behind his in-the-works King Push LP, but the Virginia rapper has now revealed that G.O.O.D. Music pal Kanye West is on-board as its executive producer.

Speaking with XXL, Pusha hinted that following some beatwork on 2013's My Name Is My Name, West has had a big hand in the making of the upcoming full-length. He noted that other artists adding production include Nottz, Needlz, Dom $olo, Hudson Mohawke and Baauer, as well as previously revealed studio collaborators the Neptunes.

As far as the tracks go, Pusha hasn't unveiled any song titles but reports that he's "well into six joints." Thus far the album has yet to be affixed with any guest features, but Pusha did reveal that the record is "straight up, lyric-driven of course" and apparently features fuller soundscapes than the minimalist drive of My Name Is My Name. We'll also assume, naturally, that the record will have him rapping about trap, and that he won't sing hooks.

"I feel like My Name Is My Name was very stripped down — on purpose — because I just felt like people weren't rapping enough for my taste. I didn't want to be in that category and I wanted to show people this is what I'm about," he explained, adding of the upcoming full-length, "I want to infuse more elements of music into King Push; paint the pictures and smash them with the lyrics."
