With the end another music year looming, blippy, chopped-up beatmaking/songwriting duo Purity Ring look set to appear on more than a few year-end lists for their unique debut Shrines, released earlier this year.

Just in case you were forgetting why you loved their LP, the Edmonton outfit has just dropped a new video for album track "Lofticries." Below, watch a handful of seemingly normal people walking around, doing their day-to-day, which, in a few cases, is not that normal. The clip was directed by AG Rojas, who told Pitchfork that "'Lofticries' is a music video exploring the stoicism of psychically connected characters confronted by surreal, climactic moments. It is also a song off my favorite album of the year by Purity Ring."
