Pulp's Deluxe Reissues Get North American Release

In the UK, Pulp are full-fledged Britpop legends; on this side of the Atlantic, however, the group have never risen above cult band status.

However, on November 17, Universal will do its part to rectify the situation by issuing deluxe packages for three of the group's classic albums. As Billboard reports, 1994's His 'n' Hers, 1995's Different Class and 1998's This Is Hardcore will be released with B-sides and previously unreleased outtakes and demos. Front-man Jarvis Cocker has also contributed liner notes to each disc, which will be packaged along with photos in a 32-page booklet. This is the first time these two-disc sets will be available in North American, although they are the same as the ones that were released in the UK back in 2006.

In other Pulp-related news, front-man Jarvis Cocker will issue seven-inch single "Further Complications" on November 1 via Rough Trade. The song is the title track of his latest solo album, released in May of this year.
